As we approach the 4th of July, it is a fitting time for us, as Freemasons, to reflect on the significance of this occasion and the values it represents. The 4th of July is a time for celebration, remembrance, and reaffirmation of the principles that have shaped our nation and our Masonic fraternity.

On this day, we commemorate the brave individuals who fought for our independence, paving the way for the establishment of a democratic nation founded on liberty and equality. As Freemasons, we deeply appreciate the ideals that underpin the United States, as they align closely with the principles of our beloved craft.

The 4th of July serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving the values of freedom, justice, and brotherhood that our founding fathers so fervently fought for. Their sacrifices continue to inspire us to uphold these principles in our daily lives, both within and beyond the Masonic lodge.

As we gather with family, friends, and each other, let us embrace the spirit of patriotism and reflect on the impact we can make as Masons. Our commitment to self-improvement, ethical conduct, and charitable endeavors embodies the essence of the American spirit. By practicing these values, we contribute to the well-being of our communities and honor the legacy of those who came before us.

As Freemasons, we understand the significance of unity and the strength that comes from standing together. On this day, let us embrace the bond we share as Brothers, supporting and uplifting one another in our Masonic journey. Together, we can make a positive impact on the world around us, creating a legacy of integrity, enlightenment, and harmony.

In the spirit of the 4th of July, let us reaffirm our dedication to the timeless principles of Freemasonry and our commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. As we celebrate this momentous day, may our actions inspire those around us to strive for greatness, uphold the values of our craft, and contribute to the betterment of society.

I want to thank our members who have proudly served our nation. Thank you for your service! Shari and I wish our entire Masonic Family, and each and every one of you a joyous and meaningful 4th of July.

Wardens Plumb By: William S. Aitchison

Greetings Brethren! This month, I'd like to talk about the duties of the Junior Warden that go beyond the specific duties assigned to the position within the lodge. While the specific responsibilities may vary depending on the jurisdiction, the Junior Warden is generally tasked with assisting the Worshipful Master and supporting the overall functioning of the lodge. That being said, beyond these official duties, the Junior Warden, as a pillar office, has an opportunity to exemplify and promote the principles and values of Freemasonry. One of those duties is personal development. Continually working on oneself to smooth out the rough edges. Strive to embody the virtues and principles of Freemasonry in daily life, both within and outside the lodge. So, I would like to ask that we all take this month to work on our own personal growth. Whether it's expanding your mind by reading a book, improving your health by exercising or eating better, growing your heart by volunteering or donating your time or money to a great cause, or simply spending more time with a loved one. Whatever "fills your bucket" and makes you and others feel good. Happy 4th of July!
