From the East

What a great year this has been for Conejo Valley Lodge so far!  The first three months of 2016 have been very busy for our Lodge.  We have already conferred several degrees, held our annual Widows & Sweethearts Dinner, gathered together for a Men’s Night Out, hosted a Masonic Education Night, had a good showing at the LA Masonic Service Bureau’s Annual Men’s Breakfast honoring the Grand Master, assisted our neighboring Lodge (Simi Valley Lodge #806) with conferring a 3rd Degree and even managed to coordinate our own Stated Meeting Dinners.  And we’re just getting started!  Over the next few

Brethren , ladies, and friends, we received a formal reply from our Eastern Star chapter that this year will be their last for preparing the stated meeting dinners. I want to thank them for their many years of service. Our Stated Meeting Dinners are an important part of our Lodge life. From the East

We will be trying to improve our Stated Meeting Dinner experience and we would like your opinion (everybody is supposed to have one). So take the effort and help us out with the survey that will be distributed during the dinner. Supporting our veterans was proposed at our February stated meeting and brothers showed their support. Acting on this support, Arthur Ruditzky, Edwin Escamilla and I attended the Ventura County Military Collaborative, where over 100 organizations provide services and support to our veterans. Our lodge’s offering is unique among all of these organizations, for we are the only ones endeavoring

Brethren, My article this month is devoted to the masonic youth orders, Jobs Daughters, Rainbow for Girls and the Order of DeMolay. The first two groups are for young women and the last is for young men. As you are aware, the Grand Master has declared the month of March to be Youth Orders Month. We are very fortunate to have a Bethel of Jobes Daughters and DeMolay Chapter at our Masonic Center. Brothers, I would say to you that it is incumbent on us as Masons to support to support these organizations to the best our ability. I encourage
