Golden Veterans Award

Congratulations to Brother Steve Ames for receiving the Golden Veterans Award. The Golden Veterans award in Freemasonry is awarded for being a Mason in good standing for over 50 years. The ceremony took place on October 7th, 2014 at Conejo Valley Lodge. Worshipful Lynn Wallingford presented the award last night with brothers, visitors and family present. Brother Ames wife was given the honor to place the Golden Veteran’s pin on his lapel. Steven E. Brethren, Conejo Valley Lodge is busy! Our 2015 officers have already qualified on the 1st Degree for next year and are well on their way to qualifying on all three degrees. We conferred several degrees over the summer and will resume degree conferrals after the 2015 officer qualifications conclude in October. Additionally, we have held several social and Child ID events in the past months and have many more scheduled for the remainder of the year (See calendar for details). Brethren, it is that time of year, when your Secretary starts to think about next year’s dues. Our dues are $130 per year plus the Per Capita raised to the next $5.00. This year’s Per Capita is going to be either $36.50 or $37.50. In either case our dues will be $170.00. You will be receiving your dues notice about the middle of October.
